A lifelong resident of Carlisle, Ohio, Rev. Michael Gray attended Arlington Baptist College in Arlington, Texas, graduating in 1978. At that time he came on staff at The Baptist Tabernacle as the youth director, serving under his father and founding pastor, Rev. Earl Gray. Upon Bro. Earl’s retirement in 1981, Bro. Mike was named as pastor.

He has served the Lord faithfully in Carlisle, leading the church through a major building program and watching it grow in attendance and ministries. Pastor Gray and his wife, Rhonda, are the parents of two adult children, Lesli and Adam and the proud grandparents of beautiful Audrey Elizabeth. Youth Pastor Doug Kraus has been in the ministry since 1982 and at the Tabernacle since 1987. Doug has studied through Arlington Baptist College. He and his wife Karen live in Franklin. They have four married children and ten grandchildren.

Krista Young has been a member of The Baptist Tabernacle since 1995 and joined the staff in 2008. She and her husband Jeff have two children. She is a life-long resident of the area and graduate of Carlisle High School. She attended Miami University as an Art Major and uses her gifts in this area in several ministries at the church.
